The Nikon has a TINY TINY bit more sharpness in some of. I find the CA’s to be much better with the Sigma. Tamron 90mm macro lens Its a tough call between the Tamron 90mm macro and the Nikon 105mm macro. The effective sharpness of the lenses is similar in the center (although the Sigma has the edge), but the Sigma is much sharper across the field. The top-notch Nikon lens for macro with Nikon DX and FX DSLRs.
